My Love For Seasons
I'm a seasons girl. I love having 4 distinct seasons. And no season holds a bigger place in my heart than fall. Too bad I live in San Antonio Texas. A land of no seasons. No leaves in bright oranges, reds and yellows. No piles of leaves to run and jump in on my front lawn. No crisp cool breezes. The only thing that reminds us it's fall is a slight drop in temperature and these little beauties...That's right butterflies. I have seen thousands of butterflies out and about lately. Hey if you can't have fall leaves I think butterflies are a pretty great alternative!

My Favorite Cleaning Product
About a month ago I was having a conversation with a girl I go to church with about cleaning products. I think it started with her asking me what my favorite was. I didn't know. I've been trying to make a conscious effort in buying more Eco Friendly products for my home. At this point I had tried Palmolive Eco+ dishwasher detergent and wanted to cry. I had more hard water stains than I have ever seen in my life on my beautiful clear glass dishes. I really did not know how I could salvage them. I thought I was going to have to throw them in the trash and get new ones. It was that bad! As I relayed this to her she mentioned that I should try a product called Lemi Shine. I tried it and it is amazing! Seriously the best product out there! I don't know if it is eco friendly but if it makes my dishes look brand new then I'm going to use it. So if you are frustrated with hard water build up I promise you Lemi Shine will work! What are some of the cleaning products you can't live without?
P.S. If you have stainless steal appliances did you know that you can use Pledge to clean them? It leaves them looking fabulous with a nice sheen. A little trick I picked up working for a house cleaning company in college.

My Favorite Zip Code
So I was a fan of the first and I must say I think I'm going to be a fan of the second. I mean with the return of Brenda and Kelly (possibly Dylan?!!?) how can I not love it? Even the Peach Pit is back and reinvented. So far the only Character that bugs the crap out of me is Naomi. She's stupid.
This reminds me of my very first celebrity encounter in LA. We met up with Denny's sister, Mom and a few family friends for a Pajama Party at Color Me Mine. If you came in Pajama's you got some crazy discount. So we did it. We were about half way finished with our project and I looked to the table next to us and I gasped. David Silver was sitting right next to me and I hadn't noticed. Here I was in my umbrella print PJ bottoms sitting right next to Bryan Austin Green who I might add was in jeans and a T-Shirt. I was star struck.

First Year Photo Line
Better late than never. I know I'm running out of time to get this one done. So here it is!This is the easiest tutorial ever! I mean it. Anyone can do it.
MATERIALS
Scissors
Hammer
2 Nails
Double Sided Tape
Sharpie
Cloths Pins
Twine
Scrapbooking Paper
Photos
DIRECTIONS
1. Mark your Cloths Pins with your Sharpie starting at 1 Month and going through 1 Year. I actually started at 1 minute, 1 Day, 1 Week, and then 1 Month. You can do it either way or you can skip this entirely. It's up to you!
2. Take 4 pieces of double sided tape and attach to the 4 corners of desired photo.
3. Choose paper, line up photo so that it looks straight and even, and stick to paper. Trim if needed. To make this process easier I got a Mat Pack. Which is a pre-cut pack of cardstock.
4. Hang up twine. Hammer the nails into the wall and cut twine to desired length. Double knot twine around nails. Make sure the two nails are level with each other.
5. Pin pictures to twine and you are done! So simple!
I have put together a Photo Line Kit to Giveaway. It includes Cloths Pins, Twine, Sharpie, Double Sided Tape, 2 Nails, and an Amy Butler Mat Pack. The paper can be used for either a boy or a girl. Or you don't have to use it for a kids room at all. It could also look cute in an office or hallway. Wherever! So leave a comment by Sunday Sept. 21. The winner will be announced Monday Sept. 22nd.
I'm going to start doing tutorials on a monthly basis. So check back on the 15th of each month for something new. Until then I hope you enjoy my other musings!

King's Hawaiian Rolls
My friend Stephanie clued me in on a really easy really yummy dinner. Making sandwiches out of King's Hawaiian Rolls. You get the really big round roll, meat and cheese. Cut the top off the roll layer on the meat and cheese, stick it in the oven for 10-15 minutes and you have a warm gooey tasty big sandwich. Slice it up and serve. We've made a couple of variations on this and have really liked both. We've made it with ham, swiss, and honey butter. And we've also tried roast beef, provolone, and green chili mayo. Both delicious. I love having a few good really fast meal options in my recipe book. And I am always looking for more. What are some of your family favorites? I'm talking fast though 30 minutes or less. 7 ingredients or less.
I Went Private
I finally went private with my family blog. So if you didn't receive an invite and you would like one then email me at bebop480@gmail.com

Oh Sonya!
My DH used to work for the skin care company Sonya Dakar. Sonya Dakar the person got arrested last week for apparently trying to bite a health inspector. For some reason I find this funny. My DH used to tell me all kinds of funny stories about people complaining that Sonya was mean. All I know is that she makes a mean face cream. If you have lot's of extra money try out The Sonya Dakar Ultra Lux line. If you have a little extra money try the Sonya Dakar Drying Potion. No scratch that! Everyone go out and buy this as no woman should live without it!
As a side note I myself have only met Sonya once very briefly in passing at a red carpet event for the clinic. However I have had wonderful conversations with her sweet husband Israel and her beautiful daughter Mimi. So I'm sure she can't be all that bad because she has a wonderful family.

Tie Chair
My dear friend Misty had a problem. Her darling daughter refused to sit in a high chair because she so desperately wanted to be like her older brother. This resulted in Misty standing next to her throughout all her meals so she wouldn't fall off her chair. She needed a solution. Her Mom told her how her Great Grandma used to tie her to chairs when she was little with dish towels. This sparked an idea in Misty's head and Tie Chair was born. Tie Chair is a harness that fits onto any dinning chair. It easily folds up to fit in your diaper bag making it convenient to take to church activities, grandma's house & restaurants (seriously those high chairs are always so disgusting!). I have used it with my little gal and I must say I love it! It's easy to use and practical. It's great for Grandparents who don't want to buy a highchair & it takes up less room than a booster seat. Just fold it up and store in the linen closet. Or for the traveler. No need to worry about packing the booster seat. Just throw it in the diaper bag. Visit her website at www.tiechair.com for more info and better pictures (mine aren't very good!). I don't know about you but I love hearing about the latest and greatest baby gadgets!
